Phil's 2nd CD, released in October 2008, is an experiment in fusing Smooth
Jazz with Ambient music. A darker, moodier, but still harmonically rich and
emotionally satisfying album. Heaven is a musical journey taken to answer the
hypothetical question "From the moment you pass from this world, until the
moment of redemption, is there a discernible sense of time passing ; and what
might a soul experience emotionally on that journey?"
