Down-n-Out

Something a little different, an uptempo, funky, fun piece from the songwriting archives (wrote it in 1984, finally got to putting it down for Still Life. This song actually started life as a ballad; we used to play it with my old band Sgt. Friday. Brian, the sax player, hated it downtempo, and suggested that we try it with a funkier sensibility; we tried it, and it's been uptempo even since.

Features Adam Rafferty on the guitar solo, and Austin Vickrey on alto sax. I'm playing the drums, percussion, bass, keyboards, and rhythm guitars.
