In Flight Song Story

This is another Lorber-inspired piece, I wanted to explore an uplifting, funky feel; and I was experimenting with pedal points; one bass note with lots of chords floating over it, it gave me the feeling of lift, of flight, and so it came. Some bluesy twists in the bridge for flavor, and voila. This one came pretty quickly and easily. I LOVE the shredding guitar solo by my mate Jimmy Dacey; it makes me feel like one of those shots where the camera is mounted o the underbelly of a helicopter that’s low-flying really fast, and then passes over the edge of a cliff and suddenly, you’re soaring…
